What is a high barrier Pouch?
Most dried foods, in particular Freeze-dried foods are susceptible to Moisture, Oxygen and Light (in that order). To prevent food spoilage and to prolong shelf-life, a suitable storage container has to protect against these elements and at the same time, be practical and food safe. Metal laminated pouches use a combination of plastics and metal (aluminium) to effectively create a convenient long lasting solution that can be used for a wide variety of food products safely.
Are the Pouches resealable?
The pouches do not come with a built-in zip seal, but can be resealed a number of times using a simple and inexpensive impulse heat sealer.
