The single most important requirement on any expedition, whether planned or an emergency situation, is clean drinking water.

Each person needs a minimum of 15 to 20 litres of water per day. It is silly to try to carry a tank of water, but filtering dirty water into a collapsible, folding water tank is now easy.

What Is A Survival Emergency Contingency Plan?

Contingency planning is the identification, prior to a disaster, of all critical procedures and resources necessary for the organizations survival. The purpose of such a program is to anticipate, and plan for these emergency situations before they arise, thus lessening their effects.

Plans must include food, water, shelter, safety, just to mention a few. Keep in mind that although prepping may mean different things to different people, the basic list of emergency food, water and supplies is about the same for everyone.

The Survivalist has written an Emergency Contingency Plan which you can download for free. Modify it and add things to suit your needs.
