Thanks for your purchase.
Are you familiar with our Terms & Conditions Of Service?
Have you acquainted yourself with the Returns Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, Warranty Conditions etc? You need to accept all these terms in order to complete your purchase. All these terms can be seen from the menus at the bottom of the website pages.
Payment:
All payments should be made through Payfast. Payfast clears all payments and advises us almost immediately. Payfast clears payments from EFT, Credit cards, UKash, Bitcoin and e-wallet.
Please note: Your order will only be processed, packed and shipped AFTER we have received proof of payment. Payfast verify all payments within an hour or two. This is our preferred method of payment. Bank EFTs will have to clear first and only once the payment shows on our bank statement, will the order be processed. The trouble is, while waiting for clearance another customer might buy the same item, reducing or even negating stocks. Please note, we no longer accept fax or SMS as a means of proof.
Cart Amount:
To warrant the delivery with couriers we have had to enforce a minimum cart value of R300, excluding discounts and shipping charges. You will not be able to checkout if the value of the items you want is not R300 or more.
Stocks:
We do not hold any stocks here at our sales office. We have working relationships with several companies who are appointed South African distributors and prominent importers in the survival field. We also have warehouses or depots in several cities. This works the same as dropshipping, but all products are already in South Africa. We take orders and payments and arrange the shipping, but all goods are dispatched by the relevant company from their warehouse. We show the warehouse at the bottom of every product page. Each warehouse sends a parcel with their preferred courier. We have no say in which courier they use, or how much the shipping costs. If you buy items from 3 warehouses, you will be charged for 3 deliveries.
Some of our items ie: medical items and foods move very quickly. We are not the only business dealing with the warehouses. Sometimes an item is out of stock before we are able to update our system.
Shipping:
Delivery by courier is normally 3 – 5 working days, but can take a little longer in some instances. (It could be up to 5 to 8 working days due to location of warehouse, time of year and your delivery address. Some medical products and items of clothing (warehouse O) is an extremely busy warehouse handling dozens of customers and hundreds of products every day. From time to time they may run out of a product and have to wait for new stocks. Collections are not allowed as our suppliers do not deal direct with the public. All items ordered will be delivered directly to you. The sun dried products can take a really long time to dry.
Once an order has been paid for and we have placed our order on the relevant warehouse/s the order can not be cancelled and/or refunded.
Once we have given our customer the delivery details and tracking number, we cannot be held responsible. Any delivery queries should be taken up by the customer with the relevant courier.
Important: Couriers can only deliver to physical addresses, so do not give us your postal address. Courier shipping rates are based on delivery to cities and towns on major routes. Remote locations, farms and plots will have to have quoted amounts added to the shipping costs. Once you have paid for your order, if the courier charges us extra, we will contact you. If you live in a remote location and do not want to be charged more, rather give an address in a nearby town.
Returns:
Faulty goods must be reported in the first week after purchase. No consumable, or perishable items will be exchanged, credited or refunded under any circumstances (especially foodstuffs). Each category of product on this website is sourced from a different company specialising in survival goods. Each of these companies has its own terms & conditions which affect shipping, guarantees and returns. Please familiarise your self with these.
If an item you paid for is no longer available, or damaged , and you want a refund, there are 4 ways we can do this: 1) We send something else of similar value, 2) we issue you with a coupon which may be used at any time in our webstore and will credit the appropriate amount to your cart total (not including shipping fees), or 3) we can reverse the whole payment amount if you paid through Payfast, or 4) we can EFT the amount to your bank account.efunds do not include shipping fees and are subject to a deduction of 10% of the product amount for card charges, commissions and bank fees.
Customer Service:
We want to offer the best possible service to our customers, so if you have questions or problems, please contact us.
The best possible advertising is word of mouth and we would like you to enthusiastically recommend us. You won’t do this if you are not completely happy, so we make it a priority to make you happy.
We are available to our customers. Please feel free to contact us regarding any query or complaint you may have. Best is e-mail, so that all the details can be given and we have a record of the conversation and any prices quoted. Phone is not always convenient.
Privacy:
Personal details are collected by us only to make your shopping experience easier. This includes your login name and addresses. We do not have access to your password. We do not collect any of your banking or credit card details. We do not give or sell any details to a 3rd party. Payments are made through Payfast which is a respected finance processing facility in South Africa. You do not have to join or open an account with them. They offer the buyer a free service and the seller is charged a commission.
