TF Beef Burrito Filling (medium or large) – Bulk Packs
Made by Trail Food, this dehydrated Beef Burrito Meal is a perfect filling for a Burrito or Pita. It consists of a spicy, flavoured beef and vegetable mix. It is all ready to be stuffed into a burrito, pita or shawarma – all you have to do is add water and heat – and in some 15 minutes you’ll be filling your chosen pastry.
A Burrito is a traditional spicy dish in Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine that took form in California cuisine, consisting of a flour tortilla wrapped into a sealed cylindrical shape around various ingredients. The tortilla is sometimes lightly grilled or steamed to soften it, make it more pliable, and allow it to adhere to itself. Burritos are often eaten by hand, as their tight wrapping keeps the ingredients together.
Dehydrated foods can last up to 10 years when prepared and stored correctly in a sealed container in a cool, dark place.
Each meal has simple instructions printed on its label about how best to rehydrate it.
Instructions:
1) Add Water – add about 7cm of boiling water to the cook-in bag
2) Stir – stir the meal and water in the bag
3) Close – ziplock the bag closed
4) Stand – let the meal steep in the bag for 15 to 20 minutes
5) Heat and Eat – enjoy out of the bag, or serve on a plate
