Manual Resuscitator (Ambu Bag) 2 sizes
Resuscitators are used to fill in the lungs with air when person is unconscious and not breathing, in order to keep them alive. Resuscitators use positive pressure to make the patient, who has compromised breathing, respire manually.
Due to their natural elasticity lungs expel the air pumped in. These devices are used temporarily until the person is transferred to a ventilator. Resuscitators are effective for emergency treatment as they are small in size and require less effort than CPR.
Resuscitators are a valuable addition to first aid kits in case there is a respiratory failure.
The Child and Baby sizes come equipped with a “pop off” valve, so that when the pressure goes above a certain limit, the valve allows the air to escape, thus preventing any damage to the child’s lungs.
The resuscitators are constructed with Silicone and are available in 3 sizes.
